Infrastructure

The system utilizes an automated deployment model driven by GitHub Actions and Watchtower.

The landing site is deployed from the Infrastructure Git checkout using its focused StackPilot wrapper. Its Watchtower updates are disabled so an older registry image cannot replace the Git-built pages. The workflow below applies to applications that publish registry images and enable automatic updates.

GitOps Workflow

  1. Code is pushed to the main branch.
  2. GitHub Actions automatically builds the Docker image.
  3. The image is published to Docker Hub.
  4. Watchtower running on the server detects the new image and automatically restarts the corresponding container.

StackPilot

All containers are managed using StackPilot, which handles the secure injection of environment variables and Traefik reverse-proxy routing.
